Take a minute to celebrate your success.
How often do you take a moment to look at what you’ve accomplished today? This week? This month? This year? Do you know what you’ve accomplished so far?
A great way to realize what you’ve accomplished is to track what you’re doing. Utilizing a daily tracker to note what you’re getting done can be beneficial if you are struggling to keep track of your daily to-do’s.
When you have a big goal in mind, such as the ones we’ve been talking about all year, you should have the big goal in mind but also your monthly, weekly and daily goals and milestones that are going to help you get there. If you don’t write them down or track them somewhere, how are you going to know when it’s time to celebrate what you’ve accomplished so far?
We only know how far we’ve come by tracking where we started and where we are trying to get to.
And then celebrate! Reward yourself! Giving yourself that much needed pat on the back for each accomplishment along the way helps to keep drive high, so that you are more likely to continue moving toward that end objective.
How do you celebrate your successes?
PARTY? KUDOS? SHOPPING?
Just a hearty job well done or high five?
The appropriate reward depends on you and the milestone. I would certainly not suggest a shopping spree for making it to work on time on Monday morning. The reward should fit the accomplishment and then take that momentum and roll it into the next objective!
KEEP IT GOING! YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING!
